I had a chance to travel through the Kawarthas a little bit last week. Travelling by bike was a first for me, and it certainly won’t be my last! I travelled mostly along The Great Trail, through Uxbridge, Fenelon Falls, Peterborough and Lindsay. I ended up cycling about 250km in four days, feeling really sore by the last day. Most days, I went for hours without running into anyone. There’s something very surreal with feeling you’re the only one out there. Made this video with the footage I shot from my bike. If you’re looking for an escape not too far from Toronto, consider going a little north! You won’t regret it!
