The 15th annual Global Marijuana March (GMM) was set for May 11th in well over 100 cities across the globe! Presented by Cannabis.ca, the GMM is the world’s largest marijuana march attracting upwards of 20,000 medical and recreational cannabis supporters and enthusiasts to downtown Toronto. This year the organizers are looking to recent victories in Colorado and Washington in America as inspiration to bring about positive change to the cannabis laws in Canada. The GMM crowd gathers behind the provincial Queens Park legislature at HIGH NOON before the parade at 2pm north of the park. The peaceful celebration has never had an arrest in the event’s 15 year history, and the GMM is part of the Toronto Freedom Festival (TFF). The TFF and GMM are the City’s largest spring outdoor gatherings generating millions of dollars to the local economy.

A total of 730 different cities have signed up from 63 different nations since 1999. The GMM is a celebration embracing marijuana culture as a personal lifestyle choice.

Participants unite to discuss, promote, entertain and educate both consumers and non-consumers alike. Toronto’s GMM is the largest march in the world estimated last year at over 20,000 people.

There was alot of Bongs, more than you will ever see in one place at one time – tons of weed everywhere, Queens Park had a fragrance of “Mary Jane” everywhere and there was clouds of enlighting aroma everywhere…….. dont miss next year!
