Yep another amp with a shorted power transformer. Once again from Hawaii. Yes, the main power transformer had a shorted HV secondary. I purchased a drop in Classic Tone unit. Worked perfect, plus allowed for addition of variable negative bias. After changing a few caps, the amp sprang to life, sounding wonderful! Ready for another few decades of service!
