On Jan. 14, the City and Sustainable Kingston co-hosted the first ever virtual Climate Change Symposium.
Event speakers included David Phillips, senior climatologist with Environment and Climate Change Canada; Severn Cullis-Suzuki, climate change activist and incoming director of the David Suzuki Foundation; Henrique S Benites, PhD Candidate at the University of Sydney and expert on the circular economy; Lori Nikkel CEO of Second Harvest; and Julie Salter-Keane, manager of the City of Kingston Climate Leadership Division.
If you’re interested in social and eco-justice, impacts of food waste (and how to avoid it!), the circular economy, how wetlands and green infrastructure can be part of the solution moving forward–this recording is for you.
